Having the prestigious PDO certification, this Buffalo Mozzarella DOP is an authentic Italian product, crafted in the Campania region, predominantly from the milk of the region’s domestic Italian water buffalo.

Known as the ‘pearl of the table’, this mozzarella boasts a beautiful porcelain-white shade. It is fresh and stringy with a very fine, thin crust. With the cut, a tasty white milky fluid glides out, which is a hallmark of freshness and high grade.

Buffalo milk contains higher amounts of protein and calcium while having less cholesterol when compared to cow’s milk. This makes it a healthier alternative for cheese production.

The best way to enjoy fresh cheese is either alone or as the main component in a slice of pizza or a sandwich. If there is a need to store it in the refrigerator, make sure to take it out 20 minutes before serving so that it can develop its flavour properly.
