Please read these terms and conditions of sale ("Terms of Sale") carefully. These Terms of Sale apply to you, the user of www.tasteforluxury.ca (the "Website") and the purchaser of goods ("you"), and your purchase of any products from Taste for Luxury ("we" or "us") through the Website.

These terms are subject to change without prior written notice at any time, in Taste for Luxury’s sole discretion. By placing an order for products through the Website, you agree to be bound by and accept the Terms of Sale in effect at that time. All sales are expressly conditioned upon your agreement to these Terms of Sale, as well as our Terms of Use, Returns Policy, Warranty Policy, and Privacy Policy ("Additional Policies"). If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the Website.

1. INFORMATION ABOUT THE WEBSITE AND THE GOODS

  • a. This Website is directed at users in Canada only (shipping to Canada only).
  • b. We try to ensure all information on the Website (descriptions, prices, etc.) is accurate. However, errors may occur. We will correct errors as soon as possible and notify you if an error affects your order.
  • c. Buying goods online differs from in-store purchases. Please note:
    • (i) Colors on the Website may vary due to display settings.
    • (ii) Actual product sizes and shapes may differ from on-screen images.
    • (iii) Images are for illustration only; refer to written descriptions.
    • (iv) Goods are subject to availability.
    • (v) Delivery times are estimates depending on the shipping provider.

2. PURCHASING GOODS

a. Placing your Order

  • i. You may register during checkout, but it is not required.
  • ii. Before placing an order, you will see a summary including totals, shipping, and estimated taxes.
  • iii. Your order is an offer to purchase goods. Each item in a multi-item order is treated as a separate offer.
  • iv. After placing an order, you will receive Order Confirmation(s). Orders cannot be changed once confirmation is sent.
  • v. Out-of-stock items may delay fulfillment unless you select the SUBSTITUTE option.
  • vi. You confirm that you are legally capable of entering binding agreements.

b. Order Acceptance

  • i. Orders are accepted when we send a Shipping Confirmation.
  • ii. We may reject orders at our discretion. If payment was made, it will be refunded.
  • iii. Orders placed before 2 pm (Mon–Fri) usually ship next day. Shipping times vary for perishable vs. non‑perishable items.

c. Payment

  • i. We accept major credit cards and PayPal. No checks accepted.
  • ii. Prices at checkout are final. Taxes and shipping fees apply.

d. Shipping and Delivery

  • i. A Shipping Confirmation email will include tracking details.
  • ii. Delivery occurs at the address you provide. Once delivered, items become your responsibility.
  • iii. Carriers may not leave packages at apartment/condo doors. Orders over $700 require signature.
  • iv. Shipping options include UPS Priority Overnight, Standard Overnight, 2nd Day, and Ground.
  • v. We may require identity verification.
  • vi. Shipping promotions may vary by province and may be updated at any time.

3. PRODUCT FRESHNESS

  • a. Perishable products are packed in insulated containers with gel packs to maintain freshness.
  • b. Perishable orders require Overnight shipping. We strongly recommend someone be available to receive and refrigerate items immediately.

4. CANCELLING AN ORDER AND RETURNING GOODS

  • a. We cannot accept returns of perishable or non‑perishable food items for safety and quality reasons.
  • c. We may cancel orders due to:
    • (i) Out‑of‑stock goods
    • (ii) Incorrect or unverifiable data
    • (iii) Suspicion of fraud
    • (iv) Suspected commercial resale intent
    • (v) Pricing errors
    • (vi) Buyer is under 18
    • (vii) Undeliverable address
  • d. If you receive damaged or defective items, contact us immediately and keep all materials. You may be asked to send photos and return items.

5. GENERAL TERMS ABOUT OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH YOU

a. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for damages arising from the use or inability to use products or the Website, to the extent permitted by law.

b. Warranties

All goods are provided "as‑is" except where otherwise noted. No warranties are made regarding merchantability, fitness for purpose, or non‑infringement.

c. Events Beyond Our Control (Force Majeure)

We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control.

d. Waiver

Failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver of future enforcement.

e. Invalidity

If any clause is deemed invalid, remaining clauses remain in effect.

g. Governing Law

Unless otherwise required by law, these Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
