Monte Cistella Aged Cheese is from the Northern area of Ossola Valley, and it takes its name from Monte Cistella. It is produced with cow’s milk, rennet and is left to ripe for 45 days.
It has a delicate, sweet flavor with obvious hints of fresh milk.
It is usually served with rosé wines, acacia’s honey, dried figs.
This is a pre-order cheese and waiting period to receive it is approximately 2 weeks.
