SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
All orders take 1 business day for warehouse processing to ensure order accuracy. Please allow a maximum of 2-3 additional business day for transit depending on your address of delivery.
Please note that items in your order may ship from multiple locations and can occasionally be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances. Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email specifying what carrier was used along with the corresponding tracking number. The Shipping Confirmation email will include a tracking number that you may use to track your order on our delivery service provider’s website and obtain an estimated delivery date.
SHIPPING METHODS
Perishable items: Overnight shipping is required for provinces other than Ontario and Quebec. Any order that contains a perishable item will be shipped using Overnight service. For orders to be shipped in Ontario and Quebec, regular service will be used. This is because for many locations across these two provinces the time reguired to ship from Kingston, On to many locations it usually takes 1 day using either regular service or express service – so why have you pay more if we can save you some money and get the product to you using either of the services. After all, we package our products in styrofoam boxes that maintain the cool temperature for up to 48 hours.
Non perishable items: Ground, 2nd Day, and Overnight shipping is available. We suggest using Ground Service!
Combined orders: If your order combines perishable and non-perishable items the entire order will be automatically classified as a perishable shipment. Please consult the details under the “perishable items” point.
a) If you are shipping to an apartment building or condo, the shipping carrier will not leave the package outside of your door. If you have a doorman or reception that typically receives packages the shipping carrier may leave the package with them. We cannot be responsible for a package if it is delivered to an apartment or condo and then not left at the door because nobody is home to receive the order. Also note that any order above $700 will require a signature, and someone must be home to receive the shipment. If you are shipping to a gated home, you must make sure that someone is available to open the gate when the shipping carrier arrives, as packages will not be left at the front of the gate. We cannot be responsible for packages that are not left at a gated home because nobody is at the residence when the delivery is made.
b) Packages are shipped using UPS and we offer 4 shipping options, Priority Overnight, Standard Overnight, 2nd Day, Ground. Please note that Priority Overnight service may not be available in all areas, and an order that ships with a Priority Overnight service may arrive in the afternoon, depending on your delivery postal code, as determined by UPS. We cannot offer any shipping refund for packages that miss their estimated delivery time by UPS.
c) All orders are subject to verification at any time and for any reason. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to require proof of identity: (i) for the purposes of verifying the legitimacy of any order or other information; and/or (ii) for any other reason we deem necessary, in our sole discretion, for the purposes of fulfilling an order in accordance with these Terms of Sale.
