Place of origin: Murray River, Australia
The source of this salt are the waters of the snowy Australian Alps. This salt is produced naturally from the underground brines in the Murray Darling Basin. A red pigment, carotene, is secreted from the salt tolerant algae.
Uses: With wonderfully mild flavor and its texture it’s ideal for use as a finishing salt. The crystals melt quickly and evenly making these salt flakes for roasting!
